Americans seem to be getting a better deal from Lee Valley.

I rarely visit the stores, in fact I've never seen a Lee Valley and haven't been in a mall in 10 years. I shop online, mail order, or not at all.

Well done that man

I once paid a visit to Preston's Maplin and got a ticket because I was not in the store when they called my number plate out. I was outside the store looking at the shop window display, wondering if I should buy the helicopter that they had on display.

lighting contractor

Visit a lighting store that has lots of displays. Haven't been in the market for much, but when we bought a chandelier the shop had lots of different samples of fixtures and installations. Bring some pix of your apartment - a sales person worth their salt could give good ...

What's a good walk behind mower?

I'd probably visit a couple of repair shops to see what brands are currently the best. Sure, my Lawnboy has given good service for 10 years, but I assume it is an entirely different product, e.g. no longer 2 cycle engine. Years ago, I bought a Toro when Toro was considered best.

Where do you buy your tool?

I live near the corporate headquarters for Woodcraft so I fantasy shop there a lot. I buy from them, but they do tend to be expensive. I also visit the Harbor Freight store that is very near by. Online research can save a lot of time and phone calls. I appreciate all the suggested ...

If I click on 'make me the default' it fiees up a Microsoft app that only lists EDGE as an option or tries to make me visit the Microsoft shop. IS there some other way of making EDGE subservient ?, like a Registry hack needed ?? Andrew

Maloof Chair Backrests

I have had a chance to chat with both of the authors shortly after they had returned from their visits to Maloof's shop in California (one even got him to autograph a copy of the magazine for me).
