Meter maids.

There is no way I would give my credit card details to a site like that, and especially not to someone called Talal Fathallah in any circumstances.

Telephone Experts Please - Part 2

I was at a local shop a while back when I overheard one assistant asking the other 'if they had finished on the Internet as they wanted to use the credit card machine and that would cut the broadband off ...'.

Sawing Worktops

Went to B&Q to buy some kitchen worktops, sawn to length via their free in-shop service. Met by a notice stating they are unable to cut worktops, doors, ... (a few others) due to "health and safety regulations". Which aspect of H & S is the problem, and to whom?

Saving romex

Certainly you don't need a lot of it but short pieces of "free" copper wire are handy for tying things up. In an emergency it can even be a halfway decent hose clamp. I usually have a bucket of wire scraps around the shop. Hobby and artist folks seem to love solid copper wire.

60 INCH Aluminum bar clamps 11.99CDN

I might be a thug, but I'm a free-lance thug. I just like the shop that sells me the really nice shiny toys at a price I can still afford to pay. Your toys are certainly cheaper, so you can have more of them to play with.

SCMS question.

It would free up a little more space in my home shop. Thanks for your opinions.

HTC Mobile bases

Moving the saw around the shop with very little cornering room is a breeze. I picked mine up from Amazon for about $50 with free shipping back in '05. HTH Bill
