PTAC for shop

I am planning to install a PTAC to heat and cool my 20x20 shop. Anyone have experience (good or bad) with the different manufacturers of these units? Frigidaire, GTE, Fedderer, Haier, Carrier, etc. Thanks.

Leather Shop Apron

Folks, I have come to preach to you the gospel of the leather shop apron. All my life, I've been searching; not always sure what I was searching for. Sometimes it was my pencil, other times it was my tape. Lately, I've spent a lot of time searching for my bifocal safety glasses too.

Split Level Shop

Anyone here have their dust collection system on the level below their shop? It would be much simpler for table saw hookups and electrical runs to the middle of the floor. Plus, you pull down rather than up from all the machines, and the dust goes to the basement.

I am not sure why I didn't think of the lateral file cabinet before but I think I am going to get another one for the shop and one for the garage.

In my opinion... I'd encourage a PM 66 table saw, a 20" Grizzly band saw, 8" Grizzly Jointer with adjustable hand wheels rather than levers, Harbor Freight floor model drill press, the 20" model if that is in your budget, a floor model planer, not a table top version, and a DeWald miter saw, not ...
