Looked at a house for sale today. The sidewalk slab next to the porch is sunken away from the house. The patio on the exact opposite side of the house is sunken toward the house. Holes have opened up in the planters next to the house, with dirt and landscaping rock disappearing down into them. An area of the front lawn about 6 feet square is thin with bare patches. There is seepage in the basement. Does all this equal a plumbing issue, or foundation damage? I didn't see any cracks in the basement floor. The owner says there's never been a plumbing problem, and the seepage happened during a recent rain for the first time ever.
