I have 18 yr old house with original builder windows. Single pane, Alum frame. They are dreadful, and there are 21 of them.
I have had a few quotes on replacement windows:
Allside windows from some sales person who I actually had to throw out of the house after he insulted my wife: 13K
Long Fence Custom windows (DC Metro Area): ~19K
Simonton 5300 Metro Contractors (DC Metro Area): 10K
Simonton 5550 Metro Contractors (DC Metro Area): 11K
Anyone have experience with either the contractors or the Simonton Windows? I have never heard of them.
