Trouble with Carrier gas pack

Hi all,

Does anyone have a list of trouble codes for Carrier gas packs (manufactured around 1993)? I've got an intermittent problem where the unit will not come on when the thermostat calls for heat. If I reset the breaker, it starts working again.

After I open the unit up, I get this sequence on the LED (after the problem occurs and it locks up): 1 short blink, pause, 8 short blinks, pause, 1 short blink (repeat).

Any ideas?

Hi, Check your ground for furnace and I thought first digit is by short blinks and second digit is by long blinks. Cleaned flame sensor? Tony
