We just recently got a bid to have our driveway sealed and we wanted to know if the numbers were reasonable.
Sealing: Approx 4,000 sq ft to be sealed. $800 Cracks: Approx 60 linear ft. of cracks to be sealed. $60
Sealer is a coal tar emulation that will contain silica, sand and latex additives.

That would be 200x20. I did similar myself and saved a ton of cash but really busted my ass. Not sure what the going rate is but I would pay to never break my body again. If you were quoted 2k i would look.
It has been 3-4 years since I had mine done for about $300 and offhand it might be half the size of yours. When I was younger, I would do it myself at less than half the price.
Got a new driveway over 10 years ago and installer came back in a year and sealed it for maybe $200 but he did a skimpy job and wanted to come back every year. I hired another guy whose sealing lasted longer and now it hardly needs it.
Your price may be OK for area and inflation but if you can, do it yourself. Besides sealer, all you need is a brush/scraper type tool which is cheap.
