Can anyone suggest a decent, DIY book for oil burners? Something that would cover all the bases (cleaning, nozzles, filters, etc) and yet be understandable and able to be done by a homeowner.
Thanks, Larry Samwells

Sure can.
It's called the Yellow Pages.
Seriously, to properly set up an oil burner, you need a few specialized tools. The best tool to have besides the knowledge in your head, is an electronic combustion analyzer. The days of setting up an oil burner by looking at the flame are well past.
