All, I've been doing a bit of research and there seem to be many options. I bought this home in 2017 and the real estate agent has limited information (owner passed away) regarding the roof installation though she was able to provide the following:
- roof is high density closed cell polyurethane foam roof system at a minimum depth of 1.5"
- polyurethane caulking to seal all foam to drain tie ins.
- 100% acrylic gray base coat of elastomeric roof coating at 1.5 gallons per 100 square ft.
- 100% acrylic white top coat of elastomeric roof coating at 1.5 gallons per 100 square ft.
- roof was installed in 2015
So it appears that the roof is a polyurethane foam roof with 100% acrylic elastomeric coating. Given these broad descriptions, which products would you recommend for:
- fixing a small hole/dent? I take it that a polyurethane caulking would work. How about silicone caulking? Sika 1-A?
- coating the roof? The link below has info on how to do it (clean, and paint really) but nothing along the lines of what materials to use. formatting linkWould the Henry's 5 Gal. 687 100% Acrylic Enviro-White Extreme Elastomeric Roof Coating be a good option?
Please advise. Thank you very much.
