Looking to do a bathroom soon and I was planning on tiling the floor. The floor has 1x1 tiles now over tar paper and plywood. The tar paper looks as if its going to be a bitch to scrape off the floor. How should I prep this floor? Self Leveling compound, or maybe go right over it?
