All-
I've searched and seen lots of discussion about building workbenches, but little in the way of reviews of workbenches sold by places like Sears. I am a new homeowner needing to do DIY stuff - not a serious woodworker. I have little kids and precious little time, so would prefer not to add building a workbench to my list of things to do - I'm okay with it not being the ideal workbench - just functional. I can spend around $250. Sears has a model around this price...wondered what folks thought of it who have seen or used it? If not, can you all recommend any others in that price range?
PLEASE do not point out that for this money I could build something better - I have no doubt this is true, but time is my absolute most scarce resource right now.
