I've been blessed. With long, long nails. For almost all my life. Really; all my dad asked is that I keep them clean. (As if he could've denied me!)
Which of course I did :-p Since age of oh, maybe 9 or 10. -? I now dabble in silversmithy. A hobby. So I have a couple extra tools in my arsenal. (I just love tools; don't you??)
So I had trouble drawing the dotty-pattern to unlock my phone screen today. Nails too long, I guessed? I set out to cut them shorter--using metal shears. Yep. One of those necessary tools in a wannabe silversmith's bench.
Also? - One of those green, Scotch scratchy pads. Great for roughing up shiny metals for soldering. Which I used instead of a nail file.
And my nail edges are smooth! And I can type again.
