Four year old Maytag Performa, model PAV3360AWW. Just fixed the water pump but now at the end of the spin cycle there is a short loud steel squealing sound just before the drum stops. Any ideas of what to look for?
Had the same noise on my old Maytag, but that was after 20+ years of use with no maintenance whatsoever. They don't make them like that anymore.
