What kind of plug do you need to use headphones ion an I Phone? (Samsung guy here) I know Apple has a plug with lots of segments in it but will a regular stereo 3.,5MM plug work? Do I need some special 3 wire to apple cable?

The newest iPhones have no headphone jack. Bluetooth only.
Depends on which model iPhone you have...
old one with a jack
If you have a model with only the multi-pin Lightning connector, there is an adapter for the 3.5mm plug

OK, I'll hold my nose.
Yes, with the older iphones. Not with the latest ones that no longer have a 3.5mm socket. You can get an adapter for those tho which has the
3.5mm socket on it.
Nope.
It isnt bluetooth only, they have wired headphones that plug into the lightning port and adapters that allow the
3.5mm jacks to be plugged in too.
Thanks. I will look at the device and see what that end looks like. It is not my phone.
