GAF vs Certain Teed For Roofing Shingles ? Opinions ?

Hello:

Anyone have any opinions regarding GAF vs Certain Teed for roofing shingles ?

Am confused over this:

Does one offer (only) asphalt, while the other a fiberglass product ?

Are fiberglass shingles the thing to go with these days, rather than aspphalt shingles ? Or,... ?

Both brands are about equal and have competing products in every price range.

Both places offer a list of certified contractors. IMO, the choice of contractor is more important than the brand of shingle.
