Front house door, front separating from door core

We have "repaired" it by using epoxy (2-part glue) and clamping for a day but that only held for about a month. It is a South facing door in Colorado with a storm door in front of it so it gets REALLY hot (melts glue and some varnish on Christmas decorations) even in the winter! Any glue that would work better? If not, I was just planning to re-glue and sink 3 screws into the corner that is separating. It won't look pretty, but it should work. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Swap it out for a steel door

Several. Swap out the glass on the storm door for colored glass or add window tint to the inside of the glass to reduce the heat. Sink the 3 screws then find some type of trim that would be suitable to add to both sides of the door to cover the screw.
