Nope, just well off.
Nope, still just well off. Plenty of small business people fit that.
Yeah, I know people who play the card game a lot, squeezing out as much as they can, then ditching the card. The smart ones leave them in a safe place like you do.
One of my advisors was so well known that when Ford offered $ 50 just to come in and test drive a car when he showed up the salesman asked hin if he was just there for the $ 50 or if he really wanted a drive. Said he coulddrive anything on the lot , but if just for the $ 50 he would give it to him and they could be on their way. He was the one that squeezed the nickle. Being retired he liked to play the games. He was not super rich, but probably worth about 2 million when he was 60 years old. He retired at 55 or so. His wife worked for the VA hospital and worked up
70 years old as a nurse. She just did not want to give up the money either. They are a perfect pair in the way they think together. She worked because she could draw 1/2 the SS her husband was getting before hers maxed out at 70. They did not need the money. They did spend a reasonable ammount on things they wanted and kept a nice home and relative new cars. Really nice people.
Plonk...
