Old is not an age. It's a combination of attitude and genetics. My late father-in-law carried a full bag of golf clubs on an 18 hole course, drove a car and lived independently until he was about 90. Weather permitting, he played about 5 days/wk. Then he compromised by getting a golf cart but still walked the full course until he was about
