Tecumseh Engines

Yes i agree Tecumseh Did make a good cast iron engine ive worked on alot of Vertical and horizontal engines But one of there down fall were They did not drill a hole in the connecting rod so it didnt get the lubrication it needed to the center of the journal so it would get hot a blow a rod they should of did the same design as Briggs & Stratton and it will reduce blown engines but in the earlier days like in the 60's they did drill a hole in the rod for awhile but they noticed the engines were lasting to long so thats why they started not drill the hole SO NEVER RUN A TECUMSEH ENGINE LOW ON OIL CAUSE YOUR ENGINE WILL NOT LAST THATS MY OPINION
