I remember reading about the mobile home industry asking for a 2 year moratorium on the conversion to 13 seer but haven't heard anything new about this lately. The problem is limited space in the coil cabinet, particularly on gas furnaces, thereby not having enough room for the higher efficiency coils. With a few different makes of 10 seer units still available it hasn't been a problem yet, but it's coming. Is anyone here using 13 seer in mobile homes ? If so, what indoor coil are you using ? Thanks.
