i do see Japanese honeysuckle (& grapes), but i think you're mistaking sumac for Tree of Heaven... sumac at least is native & has bird-edible berries. i refuse to spray glyphospate, & while i'm not sure painting the cut vines is possibly going to harm anything else, i'd really prefer other options first. lee
