We bought some "ready to flower" Hyacinths and they have bloomed but no scent, does this happen regularly?

We bought some "ready to flower" Hyacinths and they have bloomed but no scent, does this happen regularly?

What color were they? The most highly scented color are the pinks. Some, like the yellows and whites don't have nearly the scent of the pinks.
