Back to subjects relevant to this newsgroup, has anyone had experience with growing bearberry (Arctostaphylos)? Specifically, how fast does it spread, how well does it combat weeds and how much will it grow out over driveways?
Zone 5, partial sun, well-drained sandy soil, water run-off from porch. Isolated area 10 by 20 ft, surrounded by driveway.
