Gas Boiler - how to chose?

Ok, I'm totally clueless on this one.

Looking for a new boiler and haven't a clue what's what. But, saw this cheap in DIY store: Heatline V120 (24kw, 82,000 BTU/Hr) - any comments? I'm looking for something to heat a small 4 bed terraced house (with only two bedrooms used) and provide hot water.

Cheers. Tro

Thank you for the link - very informative.

I have a hot water tank (immersion heater) as part of my system, so presumably I need a "normal" (vented HW cylinder?) or a storage combi?

============================== I'm not a professional so I don't have an extensive knowledge of the range of available boilers. I can only say that you don't have to stay with the components you already have. It might make more sense to change your system completely and update to a more modern and economic setup.

I would suggest that you ask your question again in another NG - uk.d-i-y - which is visited by a few professionals including the author of the article in the link I gave you. Someone there will give you good professional and independent advice to help you in your choice.
