Choices for how to T & G

Hi all,

Suggestions needed for best item to buy to tongue and groove a load of timber - various lengths totalling around 300ft.

Small (used) router table?

What else is there, preferably under 75UKP

Cheers,

Make/buy a feather board to keep the edge of the board flat to the router table. Vital if you timber is a bit twisty and helpful even if not. Bearing guided cutter set will make things easy

My best buy source for quality router bits is Wealden online.

Unless it's special job, then why not by the timber already tongued and grooved?

To do that job properly - and safely - for a large run of wood, you would really need a spindle machine rather than a router, due to the cutter shape[s] that are required to cut the tongue (and groove).

Many thanks Bob, particularly for the Wealdon suggestion. Featherboard advice duly noted.
