This Question may seem strange at first,but can anyone tell me if it is a legal requirement to use mortar to bond concrete blocks in building a house,because i think i might have discovered a new ,cheaper,and quicker way of doing so. thanks

Concrete can be attach together in lots of ways - as long as it's safe. You will have to read the building regulations
