Wondering if anyone out there has been hearing a buzz about large scale fastener price increases on the immediate horizon for fasteners coming out of China? In a recent conversation with one of our vendors they made mention of a tariff going into effect on fasteners (nails and screws in this case) which was estimated to result in a 40-60% (and possible more) increase in fastener pricing. They were talking that they had already seen some fastners jumping 30%+ within the last week.
