Hvae a brand new set of pale yellow throw pillows that was in a plastic container on a long road trip.... took them out for the first time and they are both mildewed :(
any home remedies / helpful hints out there would be greatly appreciated!!!

Set the clothes washer on gentle cycle with a cup of household bleach, one cup of Boraxo, and about half the amount of laundry soap normally used. If there is residual soap left in the pillows, run them through the wash again with cold water and a cup of vinegar. Dry low heat or in full sun. If that does't work, throw the throw pillows away.
