Woodfloor Problem -Kahrs

I have bought some Kahrs Woodloc flooring as I was told it was simple to install. The first row went down superbly. The first board of the second row went down easily too. Getting the next board in on the second row has proved impossible. I just cannot get it to align and click. I have tried all sorts of things such as using other boards than the ones I first used etc. etc. In fact I have persisted all afternoon. All the forum posts say its childs play but one needs to get the knack. Somehow even after an afternoon I have not managed to get that board to click and align. Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong ? I am not a beginner and have laid glued parquet but this is the first time I have tried this make.

You have to get a whole row assembled together before you can click it in place.

Then get it broadly in place but angled up.

Then use a scrap bit to protect it whilst you use a rubber mallet to tap it ion place all along,. still at and angle.

Then you can tramp it down all along its length.

Don't press the first board of the second row down until you have hooked in the end of the next board. You can use wedges to hold the edge up as you work along the row but if possible it is best to assemble a whole row end to end before clicking down the whole row. Also check for sawdust, splinters etc in the grooves as you fit. Some boards do fit better than others. You will get the knack by about the fifth row.
