Ah its a bit like selling usable systems like set top boxes or talking computers to everyone at inflated prices due to low demand. I find that all things in the world at the moment seem to be designed counter intuitively generally. Thus with something like Nuclear vs other means of generating power, people price for what the market can stand rather than a real cost of things. C Con from start to end. Brian

well no, nuclear is expensive because of the army of hoop-jumpers you need to employ to get one approved and with full operational paperwork.

And wind is expensive because it is a complex bit of kit depending on an antique power source.

Centrica is talking about not building an offshore wind farm cos there is no profit in it.

In fact the sum total of government meddling in the energy markets has been to make just about nothing worth building at all.

so energy prices will rise until something is.

Meanwhile the bottom is dropping out of climate change, and windmills both.

That's a start, at least.

Changing the subject slightly, I was pissed off at today's radio interview about the "ethics" of the Co-op bank which equated GM with human rights abuse.
