I didn't have any sympathy with the nimbys, but had even less for Dale Vince or Vince Dale, Vale Dince, whatever, as he came across as an opportunist wanker.

I'll be doing something similar with my workshop door - simple rollers at the bottom, but the idea is to retain insulation value, as the door will be made of SIPs. Still figuring out the edge details and sealing.

No, I thought Vale Dince came across that he was living in a caravan, rigged up a solar panel and wind generator, made some for a few friends, got more orders, ended up employing people as a small business.

I think that is a fairly widespread view here in the Stroud Valleys. I was surprised to see from Wikipedia that he picked up an OBE somewhere (althogh I think I can guess which other local might have supported him) and earns £145k
