Hedgetrimmer question (Li-ion battery job)

(I know there's a gardening group but this is a tools question):

Have any of you experience of the li-ion powered hedgetrimmers now available? e.g.

I'm thinking about getting one. I do an *awful* lot of hedgetrimming, and much of it is heavy work -- a lighter trimmer would make life easier.

I noticed these emerge 3-4years (??) ago, trumpeted as a miracle cure, but they were very expensive then, and I was sceptical of the power, the battery life, and the tool life. Probably time to look at them again.

TIA John

Another John was thinking very hard :

I have no experience of them, but suspect they are only good for light duties. I also suspect the weight of the battery might make using them harder work than it need be, often at awkward angles. I don't find my Bosch mains trimmer too much of a problem to use and I have quite a lot of hedge to cut.

The one you want has a very large battery pack that is not part of the tool, and that you carry in a backpack.

I think the pack alone is over £500
