Cement reinforcing fibre - where to get?

I'm looking for polypropylene reinforcing fibre - similar to

can't seem to find any local suppliers of this, and the only online ones seem to be at silly prices. (900g/15 quid)

Can anyone point me at a more reasonable source?

Our company uses fibres for screeding and we use a company called Adfil, they seem quite reasonable on price but I'm not sure about small quantities. They can be contacted on 01482 863777. Alternatively, I did see some the other week in our local B&Q near the cement section - maybe worth a look if you have one nearby.

Oops - I forgot to calculate out the cement volume. Still, 15Kg for a kilo of string seems steep.

ISTR paying just over =A32 a bundle several yrs ago, but I really cant remember where.

I wondered if synthetic fibre cloth cut into small squares would unravel in a food processor. Havent tried it - and it would be very thin fibres.

Hansons charge £5 per cu metre when added to readymix iirc
