Apologies for asking yet another laminate question...
We have a suspended timber floor over concrete but the boards are in poor condition and whilst mostly level, the surface is uneven due to cracked boards and the like. Mostly heavy handed pest We have fairly high ceilings, so raising the level of the floor by 35mm is not a problem, although replacing the boards would be...
So, to the point, 6mm (or more) ply + 7mm green fibre underly or 18mm P5 and the 2mm, or even the 7mm underlay?
I'm inclined to go with the P5, since it will also do a good job of stiffening up the floor, I know some people prefer a bit of "spring", but I don't :-)
