Actually there are;
Training can come in the form of RSES Chapters [Refrigeration Service Engineers Society] and your local assocations like, ACCA, and ASHREA to name a few, all either free to members or some offer freebies to just anyone in the trade.
The factories will hold one night stand(s) as refreshers all free.
Your local community colleges also have HVACR courses athough you'll have to pay a small stipend to attend.
