I found a stunning crab-apple tree in a wooded area in a nearby ravine. It was a shrub-form, about 12 ft high, covered in small, bright red crab apples (resembling maraschino cherries, right down to the little red stem). Interesting, none of the apples have fallen to the ground (November 6) and it still has plenty of leaves.
Any ideas?
