i have an ugly Carpathian walnut that the former owners planted in the front yard. it's not that it's inherently ugly, the poor thing has problems... bag worms & borers. i'm not a pesticide user, so i could use suggestions on biologic/not toxic to the wildlife (except the pests) controls. also, does it need another Carpathian walnut to have nuts? it should be old enough to bear, but it doesn't. i've been blaming the borers though. oh, & is it susceptable to butternut blight? i have a big problem with that too. lee
