That being the case, you have a problem with the outdoor unit not working. Don't go by the fan running. It can run and the compressor not running, or could be out of refrigerant. Have a HVAC tech. check it out. If the outdoor unit is not running at all check for a blown fuse in the outside fuse box or a tripped breaker in your breaker panel.
