[SOLVED] Window Gel Stickers removal

No.1 Daughter has some of these sort of gel window stickers on herwindow. have been on for a while: "couple of years, maybe". Her windowis south facing. Some have "melted" and run down the glass. What isleft is very sticky and soft. The above page lists the material as"TPR" or "TPE". I suspect scraping off is going to be the only option, they are farto soft and gunky to peel off. Scraping will leave a residue on theglass, any ideas of a solvent or cleaning agent? Google is not veryforth coming.

Oh yes! I have definitely had this problem before! First try and remove all the funky stuff with nail polish remover and a wash cloth(you can also use a knife to scrape it off) once that is done spray the window with glasses cleaner and it should come right off

Yes but strangely, glue from labels and stickers can be a real pain. Recently Royal Mail have started to stick random stickers on Articles for the blind free post vinyl pouches which are reusable or at least they were before they vandals stuck on stickers that leave the whole thing very sticky, question is if you use a solvent it melts the PVC .
