My daughter's house is built into rising ground and has a 5ft (1.5m) wide p assageway at the back of the house to a brick wall retaining the garden - t his wall is near enough 4ft high (1.2m). This passageway is used typically for here rubbish bins and not much else.
She's asked me to look at whether it was be possible to build a low shed th ere to store 3 adult bikes in - the height limit on the house side is in th e order of 1.6m.
There's enough space and height I've worked out and my thinking is a waterp roof plywood floor on concrete blocks with a bit of membrane - rails on tha t to guide the bikes in - double doors, etc., and spanning it across to the retaining wall so that there isn't a narrow gap for muck to collect in.
The question is how to do I cope with the moisture in the retaining wall ?
Thanks Rob
