The ultimate diy thread this.Anyone remember seeing a programme of the Horizon type where they showedhow specialist firms recover lost data in computers?How would one restore a flood damaged computer? There are specialistsprays to protect elctronic boards at sea etc surely?

OK, I took "drying cupboard" to be something more than an airing cupboard.

I routinely run keyboards through the home dishwasher. Doesn't seem to do any harm, and gives a really nice cleaning.

I do let them dry a day or so, but that may not be really necessary.
