I've been getting some quotes for a replacement 3 section bay window The middle section has a sizeable dg unit around 1800mm w x 1070mm h All suppliers are agreed that the unit needs to be made with 2 x 6mm glass, but some say it needs to be toughened, others say not. (It sits about 850mm above the floor, so height is not the issue) Naturally, a toughened unit will be a lot more expensive. Any thoughts on what is correct?
