Adding a new floor to conservatory

Our house has a conservatory which is seldom used as the house is an upside-down house, meaning that the conservatory is off the downstairs bedroom corridor.

For the last couple of years we have turned it into a play room for the children but they complain that it is too cold in the winter adn too warm in the summer.

Summer - we can educate/train them to open the doors at either end and let the hot air into the house, but it istteh winter we struggle with. The floor is solid concrete with tiles on top - so cold.

A possible solution is to put in a suspend floor with insulation between the tiles and the floor boards. It was then suggested that I use celotex (or similar) and lay the flooring directly onto the celotex, with supporting edge structure to fix the boards onto.

Would this bring any benefit to the raising temperature of the floor? to then allow the oil radiator to stand a chance of keeping a reasonable temp in there during the winter.

Other plans are to add curtains to the windows and roof to try to insulate the inside form the outside.

Any thoughts - or better suggestions would be gratefully received.
