Apply some real lime from a tile shop. Pelletized limeSTONE will work in about a hundred years and is a lot less messy but that's too slow for me.

£1,000 is not a massive amount to pay for a bike - you can find quite a f ew human-powered mountain bikes in a decent bike shop that cost £3,000

In the late 1980s I sawa pile of "cleaners coat hangers" in the window of the Oxfam shop in Warwick. They were labelled "car radio aerials" and priced at 10p.

There's probably a vinyl shop in your area that buys and sells old albums; try them before you pitch the albums, you might make some cash off of them. Paul

Most fabricators around here consider any piece of metal in their shop "stock" not "scrap" and they pretty much charge retail for it.
