I am considering a portable AC/heating unit for my 400 sq ft shop. Any recommendations on brands to consider or to not consider? thanks in advance.
Go to a mechanics shop where they have those soapless hand cleaners. Use that stuff to soak the fat residue for a few minutes then scrub. Repeat.
Popped it out with a flat blade and local shop has them in stock. Apparently it is pretty generic. Again, thanks to all.

An you can probably buy a better and much newer one for about $2 at a local thrift shop. They are being thrown out by the thousands.

Bet gas was left in it last time it was used gumming up the carb..Any repair shop can handle it.
If you draw a nice diagram with measurements you can have a custom duct fitting made at a sheet metal shop or maybe an air conditioning contractor.
