Does anyone have one of these TV sockets?

I still have a PCI satellite card. Used to watch freesat and free to air sky. More selection than freeview. I am fairly sure USB DVB-S dongles are available and many players support them https://www.amazon.co.uk/dvb-s2-usb/s?k=dvb-s2+usb

Rambling thought

It's USP was free local calls - which was an open door to the calling card industry.

OT: Implementation of Part P ?

Most local authorities will send you a get of jail free card if you ask them. something along the lines of "it happened more than 12 months ago we have no interest in the matter" or that's what the head of building control told me.

Xmas escape

Anyone wishing to escape Xmas day should consider a visit to London. Park anywhere near Leicester Square and choose from a variety of eating places from Burger King to posh Italian. Free public toilets on the north side of Trafalgar Square. Very pleasant afternoon.

Is frost free sillcock busted?

My father-in-law recently installed one of those outdoor frost free faucets/sillcocks but there is a problem. It has the valve on the end, the spigot, and vacuum break on top.

The hund for a replacement drilll press, sorta long

Found in one of the publications I get: Replace the stock setup with a 1/2"x20 threaded rod (the quill stop rod on a Bridgeport mill) and get 2 Bridgeport-compatible "speed nut" quill stops that are available from machine shop supply sources like MCS and ENCO.

RE: Harbor Freight Drill

(It was a Home Shop Machinist magazine, issue before the current one. The current one has a free multimeter coupon.) Since my local store doesn't require the coupon to be clipped out, I've used the 25% coupon multiple times. It's almost paid for the magazine subscription.
