I was wondering what is an ideal lighting shop set-up would be. I recently repaired a table in my basement where it looked very good but when I brought it outside I was shocked at the difference in how it looked. It was awfull!
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites on the net or book recommendations for workbench and woodworking shop plans. Several years ago I saw a setup which had benchtop powertools mouted to a type of foot, which could slide in and out of several stations around the shop.
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a Shop Notes, issue #62. In particular the box joint jig plans. Anybody have this issue they would like to sell. Thanks for your time. John
The Ron's Shop and Misc. Photos pages have the tool pics. And, yes, I've got a LOT of arranging to do. Respectfully, Ron Moore http://members.cox.net/mlogical/
This past weekend I've torn all the sheetrock down in my shop (24 x 24) and left the ceiling alone. I plan on replaceing the walls with 1/2" plywood (tounge and grove).
On the property is a 14x20 storage shed which will finally allow me to totally dedicate my shop to being a shop and not a storage facility. Now comes the fun part of packing up my current shop.
Never hear much about shop fox on here. Looking to buy their cabinet saw -5 hp any comments?
There are lot of aprons to choose from -- $10 to $85. So is the Lie-Nielsen ($85) just a status symbol or is it worth $85? http://www.lie-nielsen.com/tool.html?id=APR
21da3ae2b0.jpgJPG of the shop floor plan (from SketchUp): http://www.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?05a337da52.jpgBriefly, this is the largest garage that can be constructed in my area. The entire floor area is 720 SF, of which roughly 470 SF is shop.
I'm looking into fluorescent fixtures for the ceiling lighting in my shop. I have 10' ceilings and about 500SF of shop area I have a lead on some fixtures and I'd like some opinions on whether they might be suitable. The fixtures are 2'x4' 4-lamp troffer fixtures.
