Made some baseboard, what do you think? (w/pic's)

Looks like you need a shop or another area to do finishing. Shop to dusty? My wife has givin me tons of crap for bringing pieces into the house to work on. Specially doors.

I screwed up! HELP! ASAP or sooner.

I've got a good series of photos here of a shop. I want to use them in the book which is supposed to leave here Friday (yeah, well...parts have left already, parts go today, etc.). I cannot tie the shots to a name. Who uses a camera that puts a CIMG prefix at the head of the photo number?

Which adhesive to re-attach sole of shoe?

The shoe repair shop is still in business, so the guy thinks he'll have some fun. He walks into the shoe repair shop and places the ticket on the counter. The cobbler glances at the ticket and says: "They'll be ready Thursday."

OT: Brake Pads

Serviced where, if it is a dealer his price is usualy alot more than a small shop maybe 1/3- 2/3rds more, shop around have someone else look at them and give a price. You dont say how long it took to drive 30000. With maybe 7000 to go, 3000 might be more like it you have time to learn.

Drill Bits info please

Not including changing the rails, drilling pilots etc, though a machine shop may well be able to do 8mm straight off. Sensible timimg is more like 3 to 4 hours. I agree that the machine shop price looks to be more than the cost of a small drill press and vice.

Incandescent lightbulbs

There used to be a Singer sewing machine shop in West Street in Reading when I lived near Reading many decades ago. A quick Google search reveals it's still there but seems to be a Sewmaster sewing machine shop now, although still with Singer machines.

Change lamp lamp from 100volts to 240 volts

Buy a new ballast and lamp from an aquarium shop. I would chuck the whole thing as I don't like the way the tube connects assuming its those floating wires I can see. I have seen similar lights in my local shop for about £20 ( same tube, 240V ballast and a proper holder for the ...

Came across a nice site for free woodworking plans www.woodnobis.com Its different to the other sites in that you don't need to click and click to get to the actual plan, it has a plan preview and description, also rating and hits.

B&Q PPpro 4-pack £75 today

When I got my 'Site' drill last year there was no advertising or any other sign of it but since I knew they had had some on offer I asked and they produced the last one in the shop from a box partly hidden under a display counter - and sold it to me at the offer price.
