How many thungs can you do wrong designing an underfloor heating mixer?

I save all my non-ferrous 2p pieces for this situation. Drill a hole and voila, a non-rustable washer.

Source for non-standard screws?

They have the "standard" screws hanging in bags on the wall like 8-32, 10-24, 1/4-20 etc, then they have "standard" bolts in a similar fashion in the open bins below. The hardware store type boxes in between only hold specialty stuff like cotter pins, keys, c-rings, etc.

Fridge - repair or discard?

A new refrigerator will have better energy efficiency, probably a more quiet unit, and perhaps some new features (temp controlled bins, beverage dispenser, etc) that will serve you better. Of course, if your Dad does the work what will you do in return?

Covering a Semi-Circular Driveway Ideas Sought

The big bins have external roof stiffeners to help support the roof. They are unroostable. There are a couple round houses in my area. I wonder how the roofs on them are built. Both have conventional shingles if I recall correctly.
