New Basement Shop Dust Concerns

I am looking to create a little shop space for myself in my house. My basement is finished, but there is an unfinished room (about 17 x 18) available for me to use separated from the finished room by a door. All of the house mechanicals are in a separate utility room.

Actually, the .08 limit is only one test for impairment. If you are seen driving erratically, fail a field sobriety test and damage or injure another, you are just as likely to be convicted of a DUI as someone who merely tests over the .08 limit. Shop floor T&G question.

Does the T&G feature make that much difference when laying a shop floor down? And perhaps a dumb question, but how come there's no T&G at the 4' sheet ends? Floor space I'm putting down is 12 X 20. 16" C to C on 2X4s laid flat Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Time for a dedicated shop

Having a home shop in a garage is fine if you only use it once in a while. The problem is that I have to share the place with four cars, my tool collection, and all our other junk. I'm thinking that my best option is to build a "shed" in the back yard and migrate my shop to it.

Apparently I'm not being clear enough. I don't want to frame out the walls. I don't want to lose floor space. I'd rather just fur out the wall with 2x4's laid flat against the existing wall, then use either plywood, drywall, paneling, or pegboard to cover. The question then becomes how to handle ...

day in the shop ruined

Well, with a 4 week old son taking up my time recently I haven't had much chance to get in the shop. Today was supposed to be the exception. SWMBO gave me leave to spend the day and I was all set to build myself a long overdue project - Sam Allen's joiner's bench.
